Following her completion of the BPTC, Caitlin was a County Court Advocate, appearing in over 1,083 County Court hearings, including interlocutory applications and trials, against Counsel and Litigants in Person.

Thereafter, Caitlin completed her training contract in 2022 and practiced as a solicitor for 2 years specialising in a wide range of both civil and family matters. Practicing as a solicitor has allowed Caitlin to develop a deeper understanding as to what is necessary to create long-lasting relationships with both professional and lay clients. Caitlin prides herself on being approachable, whilst giving frank and realistic advice.

Caitlin obtained her higher rights qualification in April 2023 and has now become a tenant at Chambers. As an advocate, Caitlin takes thorough preparation very seriously and communicates proactively with those who instruct her. She has sound judgment and knows when to take a conciliatory approach and when to go to battle.

Additionally, Caitlin undertakes pro-bono work where possible and was an advice co-ordinator for Refuge Action between 2019-2021, supporting asylum seekers who were struggling to access statutory provisions such as housing and financial aid whilst initiating appeals and public law challenges where necessary.

Outside of work Caitlin finds channelling her energy into sporting activities to be a constructive way of handling stress; giving her goals to work towards outside of her legal career. She is an avid spin and yoga class attendee.
