Caitlin Farr

Called to the Bar 2018

Caitlin is a busy junior practitioner specialising in Family Law Act, Private Children Act, Ancillary Relief, and Civil matters. 

Caitlin was called to the Bar by the Honourable Society of Gray’s Inn in 2018. Prior to becoming a tenant at Chambers Caitlin practiced as a county court advocate before completing her training contract in 2022. Thereafter, Caitlin practiced as a solicitor for 2 years specialising in a wide range of both civil and family matters. Caitlin completed her higher rights qualification in 2023 and was awarded a full exemption from pupillage by the Bar Council before joining Chambers in 2024.

FAMILY

Caitlin conducts all cases relating to Private Children Act matters. She has represented parents, the local authority, and 16.4 Children’s Guardians. Caitlin has appeared in all stages of private law proceedings from FHDRA through to finding of fact and final hearings, including specific issues, prohibited steps, and enforcement applications. Caitlin acts in all cases brought under the Family Law Act 1996 (non-molestation order and occupation order applications).

Ancillary Relief 

Caitlin has appeared in all stages of ancillary relief proceedings from first directions appointments all the way through to final hearings, including third party intervention applications. 

COMMERCIAL

Caitlin's practice comprises commercial debt litigation and all contractual and landlord and tenant disputes.
