Rebecca became a tenant in chambers after completing her common law pupillage at Charterhouse under the supervision of Daniel Wood. She practises in Civil and Family Law.

CIVIL
Rebecca is instructed on a range of civil matters including personal injury, housing matters and contractual disputes.
Rebecca accepts instructions in all housing matters acting for both landlords and tenants. She has experience dealing with house disrepair, injunctions, tenancy deposit claims and unlawful eviction.
She has also been instructed in cases involving defences under the Equality Act 2010 and the Human rights Act 1998 including multi day trials.
Rebecca has experience in all areas of personal injury including road traffic, employer’s liability and occupiers’ liability. She is regularly instructed by both Claimants and Defendant in fast track trials and interlocutory hearings. Rebecca also regularly accepts instructions to draft pleadings and to advise on liability and quantum.
FAMILY
Private Law
Rebecca is regularly instructed in private law disputes including child arrangements orders, specific issue orders prohibited steps order and injunctions. Rebecca has acted for parents, wider family members and the children at all stages of proceedings. Rebecca is often instructed in fact finding hearings where there are allegations of domestic abuse including allegations of sexual abuse.
Rebecca also has experience dealing with relocation cases and allegations of parental alienation.
Public Law
Rebecca accepts instructions from local authorities, parents, children and intervenors in public law proceedings.
Rebecca has experience in cases where there are allegations of non-accidental injury, neglect, mental health and substance misuse.
She appears at all stage of proceedings from urgent applications to multi-day contested final hearings.
